Well I sure hope your Xmas gets better. Night shifts - hard going. I hope that TV2 can rise so that you can give the night shift roster the flick.
Sounds like your Nanna got through ok which is terrific. And Xmas is just another day - so if your Nanna is doing ok after surgery then look out the window and think to yourself "things really are ok". Call the family and reorganise another Xmas day for the family when your Nanna is up to it.

And if any poster throws a snide remark about the content of this post not being about TV2 per se - then I would simply respond (in advance) that surely we must be able to demonstrate the capacity to stop and be just a little bit human and show some concern for our fellow posters.
After all ... we have the whole of next year to try and outdo each other and be snide and unforgiving from time to time.
