I have no idea what this announcement is going to be but the current capital structure (i.e. ,circa 18% interest on loans) may not be the most suitable so it makes sense to take a bit of risk off the table with a new investor.
The independent directors (i.e. non Kerogen directors) need to ensure any transaction is to the benefit of ALL shareholders!
