Basically, I was in charge of Arcadia's sound for the final 4 years until the venue shut down. I then moved on to the Newport where I did sound there until 2000?.

I have worked for few venues but was part of Audex / Bres Audio concert sound. As such, I was also part of the bigger concerts such as Big Day Outs, Perth Festivals, etc.

In general, the only 'bands' that I worked exclusively for in Perth over the years were Yummy Fur ( changed to Six Mile High) and Ambidexter.

However, I have mixed almost every Perth band at some stage from the Kaper, Animosity, Ammonia (pre success), John Butler (at Mojos), Michael Villiani, etc etc. The list is endless. My east coast list of bands is . technically, more substantial.hat included the like of DIG, Vince Jones, Skunkhour, Ertha Kitt, and so on.

In the end, I had to 're-form' as Perth music scene has deteriorated. I made more money at my first gig as a 19 yr old roadie / giutar tech then I did at my final gigs at Freo venues as a sound engineer.

I loved and miss mixing live music. There is no greater BUZZ for me.
