Don't think they can just tell fibs about it - disclosure rules and all that.
Anyway, they could as easily have said they're doing something vague, not yet concluded, with someone unspecified - if that were true - as they've done for a decade with numerous programs.
Don't really see the basis for thinking there is some secret microneedle program afoot.
