Neutro, 40-50 years ago and beyond environmental controls were nothing in comparison to the stringent restrictions of today.
There are lots of legacy issues from mines from days gone by, however, to suggest nothing has been learnt would be naive to say the least.
Unfortunately, prior to the invent of modern analytics, trial and error was about as scientific as anything could be..
With the introduction of computer modelling/ testing/ analysis, the process has become far more robust with predicted outcomes being assisted by state of the art engineering solutions etc.
If we had learnt nothing, we'd still be building asbestos houses, driving cars without seat belts, spraying crops with DDT, using thalidomide for morning sickness and so on.
I dont know who you are nor do I care. I do wish to protect my investment. I do not believe the company is doing anything illegal, nor do I believe it will.
What I will say is, the content and style of posting coming from your region can't help me think that one person is motivating/ manipulating others to satisfy their own egotistical agenda.
Good luck to you whoever you are but I will say it again, I think it's time to ease up on posting non relevant historicals, references to previous posts etc, as we have all read that stuff and are here to discuss the future rather than receive an unwanted history lesson from the past.
