Good morning,
As I reflect on Buddy's 2017 successes I find myself wondering to what extent the company has thought about what they'd do if Dave wasn't there.
Dave is obviously very much the heart, soul and brains behind Buddy, but does that increase risk? I think so.
I think it goes without saying that he probably wouldn't leave voluntarily, but things happen to people all the time. There can be good and bad reasons which require people to leave jobs/appointments and inevitably someone would have to step in. Who would do that at Buddy? The board is invisible (only Dave at AGM) so we can't easily gauge how they think.
I'm wishing Dave and Bud every success with an eye on some of the (increasing) risks around the periphery.
Cheers and happy new year.
