Why Different direction today?

    I'm wondering if anyone can tell me why we went down today? Gold has shot upwards. I've only read good news about VEC lately and then there is the acquisitions. In the current circumstances I could only see this slowly rising over the next year or two but I don't understand why it would retrace at all when everything is so positive. Hope someone can fill me in on what I may have missed.
