    Hey 62strat

Maybe now is a good time to get on board BDI.
It sure looks like GEM will get 90% of KIM, if this does happen GEM will then own 40% of BDI.

    1. GEM might not want to buy out the other 60% of BDI meaning we would have the good management running the show of both KIM and BDI.

    2. GEM might want to buy out the remaining 60% and put an offer on the table, the shareholders of BDI know what they hold and are not going to be so easily spooked into selling at a low price.
There are a number of big holders of stock holding over 10% of the company putting a number of different groups in the position to block an enforced takeover.
Also GEM will hold 40% of the company not like the KIM takeover where they have only risked the 14% they hold.

    3. BDI shareholders know that without the exploration of the BDI tenements GEM are risking their 300 million dollars paid for KIM a mine that so far only has a life expectancy out to 2012

    4. All the newspaper reports dated earlier this year when alot of rumours where cicling about the
KIM takeover expected the takeover of KIM to be somewhere from $1 au - $1.20 au a share valuing the takeover of KIM at about 450 - 500 million dollars, they look likely to succeed at 300 million giving them a saving of 150 - 200 million dollars so if they do have to pay a little extra than they would like just to get control of BDI as well they have a substantial amount of savings from the KIM deal to justify a higher price for BDI and still feel they got it all for a good price.

    5. In the next month we are expecting some good results out re: run of mine costs for terrace 5

These are just my thoughts, do your own research.
