very few BIG companies run telesales operations in the central cbd of a major city, if you look at the uk for example 90% of call centres are in wales, Scotland or the north east of England, poor areas with high unemployment where you can achieve the same results with half the budget.
by the way, you could sell BIG products from anywhere its like shooting rats in a barrel. easy money.
