Drums beat Allegiance

ALL that noise from the big end of town doesn't mean that action is not continuing aplenty a bit further down the food chain. There are some in the nickel business who believe that Kerry Harmanis sold his Jubilee Mines too cheaply considering how few smaller producers, or about to be producers, there are to snap up.

But now the drums are beating in respect to Allegiance Mining, which is bringing the Avebury mine in Tasmania into production early next year. Word from down pit is that someone is shaping up for a takeover and that one of the big shareholders has been approached and has sold off-market.
