technically it shouldn't affect as there was no company funds involved as per the announcement... but it shows the class of the director/s that they have been able to complete their commitment on/before time...

sometimes the market just looks for excuse to correct on either side - a good ann sometimes does nothing while a so-so announcement gets the sp roaring... and same for negative announcement... all based on the sentiment more than the quality of the announcement...
