See from March in Australia you will have to get a script from your doctor to get a Cold and Flu or Headache tablet with codine in it.....

This puts a burden on the Medicare system, as Doctors get another fee for script...which u use to buy at chemist without one...

some doctors in rural Australia an metro areas charge a fee to see them....so you have to pay $35 plus for cold and flu and headache tablets doctor script....which you once just walked into a chemist to buy... for nothing...

This is just a rort for the Doctors to get a bigger customer base plus charge the Federal Medicare system as well...

The Federal government on one hand wishes to save money on Medicare and then Punches itself in the face and brings in this new law that Flu and cold tablets must be now issued as a script after seeing a Doctor first...

So doctors surgeries are going to be even busier in the flu and cold season...

Another IMBECILIC decision made by Public servants to stuff the People in the Country...
