Poipet is not an attractive little charming country town with a few Casino's. It is a dusty little shithole. The only thing 'tourists' are thinking when they get of the bus to get their passport stamped is how to get of there as quickly as possible. There's nothing interesting or remarkable about the place. Except maybe dangerous landmines.

Chinese gamblers are usually time poor. They will not get the bus to Poipet.

Chinese Tourists will fly to Siamreap to see Angkor Wat. They will fly to Bangkok to see Bangkok and Thailand. They won't build an itinerary around stopping off for a flutter in Poipet.
