I have recently invested in several Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs): GGUS, IRU, IVV, MFF, VTS through Westpac Online Investing.
What I would like to know is:
1. Do I need to complete and submit a W-8BEN Certificate of Foreign Status of Beneficial Owner for United States Tax?
2. Is it necessary to complete a W-8BEN for multiple ETFs?
3. What implications, if any, are there should I not submit a W-8BEN?
