If I understand correctly, if you sell your stocks within the year of purchasing them then you are taxed 50%, and if you sell after the year is over you are taxed 25%.
what happens in the event if you buy multiple times and then sell them all at once?
Example:
Jan 2017: buy 100 shares
Apr 2017: buy 100 shares
Jul 2017: buy 100 shares
Dec 2017: buy 100 shares
Aug 2018: sell 400 shares
How would you be taxed on this 25%, 50%, or a variation?
Thanks!
