My view is that the SP went up as people bought in as a speccy punt that the SP will rise sharply on the strength of CES news and media coverage, as it did this time last year. Some of them may be traders looking for a few pips or more over the next couple of weeks. Will remain to be seen how much of Friday's money is from new true believers
