I agree that CES must have been the catalyst for this sudden jump, but how that has operated is unclear. Maybe, as you say, it's just speculators and traders having a punt. If so, they have certainly emerged in real force. However I hope you're being pessimistic when you refer the similarity with 'this time last year'. As we all know, Nuheara has come an awful long way over the past 12 months and now has a far better claim to be regarded as a serious investment proposition.

There must be plenty of sophs and small tech/early-stage funds sniffing around CES. It would not be amazing if one or more of them has been alerted to serial award-winning NUH. If so, I hope and trust there have been people on hand to give them a proper investment briefing. And it would not take too much analysis on their part on determine: 1) the shares are available at give-away prices, and 2) the shares are available in quantity. As dart pointed out, it's usually impossible for instos to acquire a half-decent holding in microcaps (at least the good stuff) this side of a CR. That does not apply here - 23m shares were bought and sold on Friday alone.

Obviously, I don't know that something like this is occurring, I just say that it is plausible - and (imho) not before time. We will not be properly 'on our way' with Nuheara until it moves beyond being a plaything for speculators. Maybe CES will prove to have been the turning point in this regard, maybe not. This time next week, we should have a much better idea.
