Since when is a small stock meant to rise in a nice orderly straight line?
It would be nice if it did that. That way everyone who got in cheap would stay on for the ride, make an absolute fortune and there would be no collateral damage along the way.
The norm of course is that most investors will be shaken out along the way.
Look at the daily high/low chart of any small stock that has risen to highs from a few cents and you will see very sharp daily corrections along the way, shaking out many of the recent purchasers at a nasty loss and some of the investors who got in cheap as they get nervous about further falls.
Such is life.
Remember what John Kelly said on Boardroom Radio when talking about the share price fall:
"There is no bad news in the market."
