Good Morning Team, I feel the next 1-2 months will define the Bathurst stock for medium term outlook. The stock is poorly promoted, very undervalued, and needs allot attention to drive its value to a realistic market cap of least $500 Million. The company is now turning over circa $30-40 Million per month. So it's now turning $4-500 M p.a on a fully realised fiscal 12 month basis. It has a steady 33% fixed price domestic income, and large export revenue it has never had before. It will turnover an EBITDA of NZ $100 M in the current year. It's value is currently under rated by circa 50%, as picked up recently in AFR. The Coking coal price is us$250 / nz$350 per tonne, less $100 fob costs. Do the maths on 1Mtpa x $250/t margin. Let's be conservative and use a weighted average us$175 across the fiscal period. us$175/ nz$250 x $150/t margin. 1Mtpa x$150t margin = $150 M $150 M x 0.65 = $97.5 M (add a $20 M from the domestic business). This is all very achievable on a conservative basis. The problem is all the Bathurst Execs are operations boys, they have no commercial capability. There are no roadshows, no investor relations, no earnings upgrades to the market, no public analyst reports. The Bathurst Execs (note the Chairman has zero mining sector experience) are running around with hard hats on, rather than promoting this stock (aka Mr. Bohannan). We need to start writing to the board and asking why they won't engage in investor relations....
