LME (London Metals exchange) Oct 17 announcement for 2018 delivery.
A number of new contracts will be introduced, for the emerging battery metals industry.
Chemical cobalt (cobalt sulphate) , lithium, potentially a chemical nickel contract, to bring price risk management to an already rapidly growing market by bringing greater choice and fairness and supporting the physical market.
This will be a good development for future operation at Wingellina perhaps(?) removing the need to contract one long term customer, and the big advantage in negotiations this gives them.
