I agree, lawyers cost more then that a day as well. I think there are 2 scenario I'm thinking with this announcement.
1) FBR/HX is ready to roll out really soon. Paying some $$ for consultation is prudence at the moment to enable bigger targeted market.
2) Management is just expanding like crazy with no idea what to do next.
I'm leaning towards scenario, and like others have pointed out, it could be very very exciting really soon.
