Zircon prices rise, characterized by short supply

Zircon prices are increasing as expected in 2018, with price rises predicted to continue into the year ahead.
Premium zircon prices have risen following predictions by producers, traders and end-users that they would do so come 2018 on the back of supply cuts. Prices were predicted to rise between $100-125 per tonne from January 2018 following zircon producers Tronox and TiZir informing their customers of a price rise.
