mogga has answered you. Any concept of God is pure imagination.

That's not saying God does not exist, just that any knowledge of such an Essence is completely outside the limits of human understanding.

Heaven is a state of being, not a place.

If not then where did God exist before the beginning? As God is not a part of physical existence, the physicality of this universe and the beginning is only a reference point because no actual beginning took place, then God is manifest in whatever attitude such an Essence of State has always been, everywhere and nowhere at the same time. Time here is only language convention because we need to attach our imagination to something or we have no conception or common understanding. Without time God can be everywhere and nowhere at the same, ahh, well, you know what I mean because I don't.

Beginning for us tends to be that Big Bang, Primal Egg, Singularity thingy that went through expansion and is still enlarging to parts unknown. Beginning is another one of these words like, time. They are anchor points but have no real meaning.

Some religions take these anchor points to extremes such as in Genesis Creation and living a ruling with God.

Basically I've written half a page to say what mogga said in one line.
