Just in case anyone doubts RNClarke's word (and I'm very confident they won't), I was with him and Lefevre chatting to Tony at Sydney Techknow, and I posted on 26th October as follows:
"Subsequently I saw Brian get Lefevre to try the app. We were on the lunch-break in a large area with a high level of general background noise from attendees talking/eating. I saw on Brian's phone that the base level of sound waves appeared to be significant, covering the bottom third of the screen. Brian asked Lefevre to cover his mouth with his hand and cough 5 times, from about 0.5m away. Each cough produced a clear central spike of sound waves to the top of the screen. Visually I was impressed as it appeared to me that the background noise did not mask the cough sound waves (as ResApp also state)."
@RNClarke, it's good to know that you saw it again at the AGM and remain impressed.
