From the study update: "The final results of the study will not be available to Neurotech or the public until the investigation has been published" — note this says "published", not "peer reviewed". Papers get published based on a balance between how important the news is against how long it has been waiting, so we're guessing a bit as to exactly how long. However...
This (from AGM presentation, slide 9) quite clearly indicates publication is expected to take no less than three months, and up to six months.
We're reading between the lines a bit here — and hoping for some clarification from Neurotech — but if we don't get access to the results until they're published, and if the FDA submission can't be made until we have the results, then Q1 2018: US FDA submission clearly cannot happen.
