Sorry,can't answer your question as I have never been involved in the geology side of things.
Last gold mine I worked in was in WA,open cut in the late 1980s.The grades from memory were around 6-10 g/t and the mine depth went to around 100 metres with a propose decline at the bottom.
The grades you mention are large by comparison,but uncut/cut,unsure.
