I have gone to the same extent over a few nights of trawling through every stock on the ASX looking for pattens. I then do a research on the individual stocks to check out the story, make comparisons, read the finacials, ann etc etc and if interested I will then call the company to get a feel for where the company are heading. Long and laborious I know but well worth it.
