I take it you are saying what happened to the Kurds in 1988 justified an invasion of Iraq in 2003, 15 years latter
and most other similar incidents of Human rights violations occured at least 10years prior
Why didn't the yanks act to save the Kurds in 1988, oh that is right Saddam was a mate of the US in 1988
And in no way justifying what happen tot he kurds, the kurds tehmselves were not exactaly innocent either, a fact you left out. Facts like the kurds carrying out a conflict with booth Iraq and Turkey for something like 40 years or the Kurds supporting Iran during the Iran Iraq war.
Amazes me how many who rightly so condem what happened to the Kurds but condone the yanks using the A bomb on Japan.
Regardless how you want to twist and leave out parts of history the fact remains that the yanks have meddled and interfered in the ME for the last 50+ years and in most cases for no or very little other purposes than serving their own self interest mainly oil.
