I am aware that we are talking about QBE and anything is possible but surely earning do not need to be "rebased" yet again? QBE is finally in a positive macro environment which will only get better (rising US interest rates) so they cant use that excuse. The new CEO has also been on board in another executive role for a few years so couldn't go with the angle that things are "worse than he thought"
