vugular and cavernous, page-5

I think this is quite an unusual situation. Not normal to leave a well sitting for a week with drilling mud in the bore. Since the nearby vugular caverns are full of the lost mud, its going to rely on the porus area to supply the pressure to drive it out again.
Swabbing will remove the drilling mud from the well bore and the well may possibly give a kick until the driving pressure is expended. Then waiting again for pressure build up via the pores.
Because of the less than perfect (open hole) bottom hole completion on this well, the production of any oil/gas may be subject to experiment until the optimum method is found.
In my humble opinion its only the lost drilling mud that is stopping the well from flowing. Its just a matter of time.
Does any body know what the bottom hole temperature is?
