How is a former taxpayer who most likely worked hard and raised a family on a low paid job classed as a self made problem?
There is a lot of single women who were mothers and family contributors and never had a superannuation, such as I have, or are now from broken relationships in their older age with no assets through no fault of their own - what is your solution - should they take their own life?
These people aren't criminals and as decent contributing Australians I hold the view they should be given a dignified life prior to any immigrant/refugee receiving one cent.
