Appointment of Director
Castlemaine Goldfields Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of
Mr. Robert H. Adamson as a Non-executive Director of the company.
Mr. Adamson is the Managing Director of RFC Group Limited (RFC). He has over 21 years professional experience in investment banking and the resources sector.
RFC have been a strong supporter of the company having taken a share placement in 2005 and underwriting the subsequent rights issue in that year. RFC also participated in the placement in December of last year. Mr. Adamson, through RFC, has a relevant interest in 13.8% of the issued shares of the company.
RFC have also played significant roles in the financing of other key Victorian gold companies over many years. The level of involvement and knowledge of the Central Victorian goldfields shown by RFC and Mr. Adamson in particular, is a very positive indicator of the potential seen in this company.
