The Directors of Synergy Metals Ltd (Synergy) have been advised
that yesterday diamond drill hole SSDH038 intersected 7 metres
downhole (with the true width estimated to be in excess of 2 metres)
of highly mineralized material with strong arsenopyrites and pyrites.
Visible gold up to 1mm in cross section is evident in one of the cross
veins within the intersection.
The Directors are making this preliminary announcement to keep the
market fully informed. The diamond core has been cut and logged
and will be sent away for assaying and interpretation before the data
can be completely assessed and incorporated into the geological
model.
Drill hole SSDH038 was designed to confirm the structural
orientation of mineralisation encountered in drill hole SSDH017 (15.9
metres at 52 g/t reported on 21 June 2005, which included 0.4
metres at 900 g/t and 1.3 metres at 243 g/t).
The rig has now been reoriented and another hole commenced on
the structure to further test the veracity of the geological model.
