I assume the secret to getting the cost down is trying to find some generic method of targetting cancer cells with immunotherapy. It seems many that are doing well at the moment are specifically engineered for one person's cancer. Sounds good in the write ups when they talk about "personalised treatment" and all that but unless you can just manufacture a million vials and inject same for everyone I guess cost will remain high.
