Either way, there is no doubt the combination of standard telemarketing persistence and a lure of 1st year's free insurance is very effective at signing up customers.

However, one would also think this is rather easy to replicate for rival direct call life insurers. I don't quite see how their sales strategy is some kind of a large moat that others can't copy.

I first became interested in this stock due to low multiples, but going to watch from the sidelines to see how rivals respond, and if indeed they can sustain their prodigious sales growth.

A good point. I suspect Steve is more referring to the ability to became entrenched with the other participants in the chain (SwissRE for example).

Going to be interesting.
