You do know a brokers job is to buy and sell for their clients right? So when your looking at the broker data, it doesn’t mean anything, except maybe which brokers have been recommending BIG or not. Or at least, there is no way you can tell, if brokers are buying for themselves by looking at the broker data. Every time I buy and sell stock it’ll turn up in broker data through commbank/commsec.
