Frank,
it seems that currently, all GBG shareholders will have to be content with just a brown blob next to their name!
It's impossible to be sure where the shareprice may now be had the merger not been announced, but we can be sure that the merger definitely took the gloss off what was progressing along nicely - ie. the BFS, upgrades, Lodestone, Gov't dealings, contracts, the "Building Blocks" etc., etc., etc.
Considering GBG's potential resource could be around 4 bt mag or about 1.6 bt "hematite equivalent", the shareprice is not reflecting anything like its potential.
The merger was a poorly hatched plan, seriously ill timed, that should not be rewarded by GBG shareholders being so acceptable or complacent about it.
Had they shown some patience, and been fairer or more equitable to GBG shareholders, the market would have accepted it in a better light.
Yeah, I'm not happy at all, and those who think it was a good deal that was in GBG's interests have been kidding themselves. We're paying for it now and not much short of a takeover announcement is going to stir much up - bar some more sediment.
