morning,

in our 'I won' comms. --

my first thought when I saw the ann. after the initial surprise was --

why has he put this out now? - it just seemed that a week on from a great ann. of import was ?
coincidental? - I don't know - my little neurons - half of them said - oh, it's because of the xmas period work they have done and there's a backlog of information to come to us -

no point releasing over the break kind of thing - the other half of the rapidly diminishing neuron bank was saying -- 'arrrh, I don't know - we don't believe in coincidence - ever'

I ruled out capital needs - because we most certainly should be flush - if we weren't I would be thinking 'raise coming' - but, I am confident that is not the case.

Then, I thought - I don't know - perhaps there is some strategic reason or perhaps there isn't -

in the end - I just went and had a coffee with no conclusion whatsoever.

If I was forced to put money on a bet of why - I would think that there is a mass of gathering evidence leading to a JORC, which we are told is on track timewise - and, the amount of data for that really is large - so, ipso facto we have had a solid information build - and, that not only would give us the JORC - but, by it's very nature would be beginning to write a story for itself


what I mean by that is - as I have said before - as you go on with projects -- any project - an exploration project or mining, or writing a play, or an assignment - or building something of reasonable size or complexity -


even though at the early stages - you say to yourself and plan to keep all your options open as long as you can --

there comes a point where the thing - no matter what it is - begins to have a life of it's own -

in other words -- decisions begin to be obvious --- which actually means that some doors close for you naturally.

We may be at the beginnings of that now - and, when that happens - often anyway - you begin to be able to start telling people where it is going - as opposed to just blundering around in pages of disjointed thoughts and a mass of confusing evidence or ideas.

Which means that - one day you wake up and think -------------ok, I think we can dig this sucker up and sell it -

so, you begin to plan and budget for that --- or as Breaker put it -----'initiate studies'


it sort of means that - this door which has always been open - you are now thinking - lets see if we can walk through this one -

which also means that hopefully - you can begin to close off some other ones with a bit of luck and a fair breeze - like multiple capital raisings or loans etc. - because you can generate some cash.

And, of course - it may well mean that if all goes well - then, instead of having 4 or 5 drills on the ground - you might end up with 10 or 12.


it's the story beginning it's own life
