I have to agree with you that the lack of communications on these points make the management look very bad.
It would have gone some way to affirming that the management team is at least subject to some minimal level of in-house oversight.
Instead,there is a distinct feeling that they are currently sitting back relieved at ensuring their handsome salaries for another month or two.
Is this verging on a kind of arrogance and disrespect towards the shareholders at the moment?
It's looking pretty sad at the moment.
