IMHO KK in the Senate is too liable to be a lightning rod for attacks due her reliance on Eddie Obeid for her 2009 votes to become premier. I doubt she will get Senate spot. Also too many Union backed aspirants. Also EO in court sometime soon re 2008 corrupt coal EL's and case could run for months.
