I agree 100% @foo ling yu anyone that doesn't realise that blockchain has as many real world applications as the microchip are destined to repeat the mistakes of the past - just as microchip's have enabled faster, lighter, smaller computers to the point of nano-computing - blockchain along with VR/AR and AI will comprehensively change not only the integration of computers into every real world scenario but also the experience and flexibility. Companies are already exploiting blockchain for bio security, data security, identity security, fiat or financial security along with delivery management optimisation - in fact it has started a new paradigm in IT known as "TRUST".
As far as monetising your data - well securitisation and trust that the right customer receives the right data at the right time with as few as possible human passengers along the way - whether in TV2's use case where they are licensing content from content providers and carrying out financial subscriptions using third party ISP's to deliver that content to the correct customer in an uncorrupted format is a no brainer.....
