re: daver- miles again avoids the issue. Dave,
the solutions are not evident so would it be better to consider alternatives not yet thought of?
REPLY; I doubt it as anything that can be tried has been and has failed.
It must surely start with a vision, a common goal to work towards.
REPLY; Sure, whose vision and whose goal ? We do not have common goals, such concepts are illusions.
Currently there is only opposing view points as can be witnessed even on HC.
Yak asks for solutions yet we come up empty handed.
REPLY; not emptyhanded, there is a solution of sorts but it is unpalatable to civilized people.
Violence beghets violence and so on infinitum.
REPLY; exactly...infinitum, and that is just how some people want it. Like I said a common goal is illusory.
Short term I agree the war will rage and unfortunately escalate. When all hope appears lost then maybe the brains trusts of this world will explore other alternatives not yet thought of.
REPLY; nothing that may be thought of will ever be acceptable to everybody.
Dreaming? maybe...I like to think of it as hope.
REPLY; fair enough, but watch out for that slap in the face from reality ending the dream.
