Jan 26th celebrates the founding of NSW but for the other states it matters little. May as well have it on June 6th. What is needed is a date that represents the founding of all Australia. I say leave it as it is for a few years until we inevitably become a republic. Then change Australia day to that date - one that represents the founding of the whole nation as an independent country
