Standout move by RCH today on decent volume and looked strong all day.
Looks to be expectation that the new business for this company is going to be very favourable.
Had a look at the 15th October speeding ticket release about the three possible business opportunities and noticed their advisor is Domenic Martino. Domenic Martino is chairman ARH & ComputerCorp, former chairman Sydney Gas, former CEO Deloittes, etc.
Given Martino's former connection with Sydney Gas plus 1 of the 3 directors (Mark Balfour) previously being Sydney Gas company secretary is the new business going to be the US gas and oil play? Also, the director Michael Scivolo has a fair bit of mining experience so does this also suggest this business is the more likely.
Could just be that Balfour's previous business relationship with Martino and his likely wide range of contacts via Deloittes etc means the company have decided to use him as their advisor. However, surely Martino would be looking to become chairman or take some form of active role/stake in the company.
Any thoughts??
