This is clearly a ploy by MVT to entice shareholders to reject the 5c capital return and snap up the 11c offer.
I for one have voted for the 5c capital return. If MVT have any confidence in BAU I would expect an offer above 11c. This is just a bit of sparring at the moment and the real fight will gather momentum if MVT is still interested should the capital return be approved by shareholders.
