Westralian Gas & Power Ltd’s interests lay in three distinctive energy resource categories,

On-shore Oil Production & Exploration the USA.
Off-shore Oil & Gas Exploration in Western Australia and On-shore Coal Seam Methane Gas Exploration in Western Australia.

From it’s beginnings in March 2005, as a dedicated Coal Seam Methane explorer the company has developed an exciting portfolio of energy prospects and is already earning income from oil production in the USA.

    Oil Production & Exploration
The acquisition of the Carter and Stockton oil production leases in Kentucky USA, in mid 2006, gives the Company cash flow from current oil production which although small is expected to grow in excess of $1.5 Million in 2007. This cash flow will allow the project to grow with an associated increase in production.

A number of old wells on these leases are being brought back into production following stimulation programs and it is expected there will be a significant increase in production.

After a recent seismic survey the company now has data which greatly improves the prospectivity of the leases which will lead to a drilling program in early 2007.

    Oil & Gas Exploration

In early 2006 the Company through a wholly owned subsidiary, applied for two adjacent exploration Permits in a highly attractive area in the offshore Perth Basin, Western Australia. The Company’s application was granted and we now hold a 50% full interest in both of the areas.

Previous exploration of these Permits in the 1980’s produced indications and shows of hydrocarbons. Much of this old data has been reprocessed with pleasing results and we believe that with new technology we could locate economic reserves on Perth’s doorstep.

    CSM

The Company’s exploration for Coal Seam Methane gas in Western Australia has been slow to date however an extensive seismic survey has identified several drill targets however native title clearances had to be satisfied prior to drilling these. The company has recently negotiated a farm-in partner for one of its coal seam project areas, which will keep our direct expenditure to a minimum whilst retaining an interest in the project. Drilling should commence in the first quarter of 2007.

The team at Westralian Gas and Power Ltd is dedicated to producing value for shareholders through asset growth and revenue.
