Keating is always a hard case given his combatative nature but on a website where there is a presumption that people know something about money I am always surprised at the level of abuse he still cops. Twenty years after he abolished the double taxation of company income by introducing the system of dividend imputation I remain staggered that the old system of double taxation had not been abolished under any of the preceding conservative governments which had ruled Australia largely uninterrupted since 1949.
