"Most people saw this coming" in the same way that everyone saw the Perth property market correction coming in hindsight. One individual who told me to buy property in Perth 5 years ago or else I'd miss out, now tells me that he saw the market slowdown coming and it was inevitable.
So either they are full of crap or intentionally gave bad advice.
