Just how much cooling does it need. Of course, some.
But as my physics has it -- and I stand to be corrected -- the hot ammonia should become cooler as it vaporises.
This loss of heat is governed by the principle of the Latent Heat of Vaporisation.
So it is not as if the vapour at the end of the cycle is as hot as it is at the beginning.
The energy (heat) is in effect transformed to kinetic energy and that's what drives the turbines.
It would be interesting if someone qualified could have a stab a the temperature at the end of the cycle and what degree of cooling is needed.
