"...if there was nothing behind it?"
Why were there so many people who bought it at $0.10? I guess they were sure they could sell it at $0.11 at least. The fact was the market played them very good. They bought in and now have to decide to sell at $0.001 or $0.005, or better $0.11.
Here nothing important than your hunch. Yes, " once everything is in place...." all are too late. Two possible outputs:
1. AFT gets a great product and market in pet caring.
2. AFT repeats its history and fail to get a life maker chance.
From my hunch, my answer to the question "Why would anyone buy into it in such numbers if there was nothing behind it?" is very positive:
1. pet caring is a huge market
2. Intelligent widgets for pet caring if loved by the pet owners would pour a lot of money into your bank.
What's the catch? At moment I bet on it for bright future and wait for the so called everything in place. When I get the first of these everything in AFT, I would evaluate the risk/return again.
